As we sit back and reflect on this past year, we had another exciting and fulfilling year hear at Verify!
In February, we were lucky enough to be featured in Erie County Executive, Kathy Dahlkemper’s 50 in 50 campaign. Her mission was to showcase a wide array of employers that have planted roots in Erie County. We were honored and grateful that she chose to showcase our business consulting firm.
In the spring, we paired up with a local software and network developer to create a custom software application. Our new program helped us to not online streamline our internal workflow processes, but it also help to cut our auditing times in half – really benefiting our clientele as well.
In June, we welcomed Maggie, our new summer intern for 2017. She helped us with several research, and organizational tasks while in-between her college semesters.
In August, Erin was invited to participate in a entrepreneur panel at the Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership’s Erie Homecoming & Business Showcase event. They shared their entrepreneurial journeies, experiences and advice ni regards to launching a new business from startup to exit.
This fall, we hosted a client appreciation event over in Willoughby, OH, for our clients in the greater Cleveland area. It was a great chance for many of them to get to meet our Project Coordinators face-to-face. A good time was had by all.
Tiffany Bowes joined our team in September. She will be serving our team and clients alike in an Inside Sales capacity. She has already been a wonderful new addition to our team, and we are so glad to have her with us. We have no doubts she will serve our clients well.
We took a mini road trip over to Ashtabula, OH and volunteered at Signature Health, Inc’s annual Trunk-or-Treat event. We all dressed up as skittles and decorated Deadra’s car to look like a rainbow. But the funnest part of all, was getting to hand out candy to all the trick-or-treaters who came through.
In November, we participated in the 3rd annual Erie Polar Plunge to fund-raise for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Our team raised $1,846 in donations and warmed our hearts in the oh-so chilly waters of Lake Erie.
And just earlier this month, Brian Slawin from Ben Franklin Technology Partners came out to our office and featured us on his Ventures!LIVE show. We were afforded the platform to discuss all the wonderful takeaways Verify! got from our Athena PowerLink mentoring panel.
During the Christmas season, more than ever, our hearts are full of gratitude for our clients, business associates, and friends who have made our progress and growth possible. It is in this Holiday spirit, that we sincerely say “thank you” and wish you all nothing but the best for the New Year ahead!
