Our consulting firm that specializes in business expense management, is so thrilled to be celebrating a decade in operation this month. Starting out 10 years ago, we only had two employees and the original focus was saving our clients’ money on their telecom-related services. This comprised mostly of auditing and dissecting local and long-distance phone bills, and DSL internet accounts. By listening to our customers’ feedback over the years, we have expanded our audit-based service offerings to add cellular accounts, gas and electric utilities, and most recently, the audits of existing merchant processing services. Our growth has extended far beyond just our menu of services for our clientele. Since our incorporation, we have moved out of our original home-based office, and into our current office space that now houses 10 Verify! employees.
We attribute the success and growth of our company to our willingness to take notes and suggestions from our clients. Our enthusiasm for progress started the first time we asked an existing client what other pain points they had, outside of their telecom accounts. That particular client was convinced they were paying too much for their business’ cell phones. As it turns out, they were right. We quickly found we had a niche for finding savings on cellular accounts too! It was only a matter of time before we were uncovering additional savings for our clients on their gas and electric utilities too. Our clients already knew our value from helping them maintain their telecom services with their existing carriers, all while decreasing their spending costs. Many of them trusted us enough to look at their other business expenses. Our working relationships with our clients has allowed us to be so much more that just their outsourced telecom department. We have now become their unbiased resource for many of their purchasing decisions.
We believe the added value we have brought our clients really lies within our managed service business model. For many clients we have done more than just save them some money. We also proactively review their monthly invoices, manage and negotiate their service contracts, and often times facilitated repairs on their service interruptions. In fact, the majority of new accounts for Verify! have been the direct result of client referrals – we have not had the need to advertise. To-date our little firm in Waterford, PA has helped various businesses in 35 U.S. states. We are beyond thrilled with our company’s growth and would not be where we are today without our loyal and valued clients.
